All common questions about the game should be directed here. This includes both single-player and online questions. When asking a question, it is often beneficial to share which mode you are referring to in order to get an accurate response. Also consider sharing any relevant information that may help someone answer your question.

All story spoilers must be displayed with the proper format:

    >!RDR is a great game!<

    gives you:

    RDR is a great game

If you're not sure if you should use a spoiler tag or not, err on the side of caution and use one. Also, it's a nice gesture to visibly indicate the general nature of your spoiler before the tag, so people know what you're spoiling.

I've done two full playthroughs and this was the first time I thought to go in here. Can't believe I missed this.

I replayed RDR1 for like the fifth time and it’s been many years since my last time and I realized something. I miss the fame system.

It was so cool that John slowly became famous over time. By my mid game, everyone knew him as the famous gunslinger John Marston. He killed everyone in Fort Mercer, he fought in the Mexican Revolution, and he's the fastest gun at the time. Everyone that challenged to a duel him lost their thumb, at best.

It was so fucking cool to sit at a campfire, roll through town, and hear everyone talking about you. "You don't look so tough, John Marston." they say. "I heard that John Marston depopulated an entire town."they say. "I heard that John Marston was a hired killer for the Jews." Herbert Moon says.

I feel that that was lacking in RDR2. For such a huge and infamous band of bandits, no one seems to really talk about the Van Der Linde gang at all.

Finally getting around to cosplaying John Marston. The hat is basically done, took me two days to get the paint right for tone, weathering then making the hat band and tracking down a somewhat accurate feather. When I get the whole outfit done I'll post it on here for you guys :)
