The game has ruined other games for me. I can't enjoy them anymore - because they just don't stack up to RDR2. From the realism to the attention to detail, to the story to everything! It is just amazing and I am quickly realising other games (especially those that are released yearly) do not rate compared to the masterpiece that is the Rockstar western.

For example - I bought NBA 2k22 and it is fine but little things like walking around in the city, and the dialogue is trash - and I probably wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't for the amazing features in RDR2.

On a side note - it is crazy to think that the game on seperate themes alone would still be ranked as great. If the gameplay was poor, but the story was great - people would still love it. If the story was poor but the environment was as beautiful, people would still laud it as amazing. But you add in everything that it is - this game is quite literally as close to perfection as we will come to a video game in this day and age.
