Red Dead Redemption II changed my opinion of video games.
It's been 418 days since Ron fled Pawnee because Tammy 1 showed up again.
So I guess R* just rewarded me this sheep from the heavens for killing this dude?

Red Dead Redemption II changed my opinion of video games.

Before I played Red Dead II, I saw video games as entertainment. Of course, they are that, but I saw them as nothing else. I played the stories of GTA V, Skyrim and other well made games, but just saw it for the fun.

It only took around ten minutes of playing RDRII's story for me to see things differently. I didn't skip a single cutscene or a single side mission. This is art. Better than most films and TV shows. The story is incredible.

Games are slowly getting more attention in mainstream media in terms of the craftsmanship involved. It took RDR II for me to see this.

Arthur Morgan and the entire Van Der Linde gang are so well written. Every character has flaws, and the missions that you go through are moving and thought provoking. I cried at the end.

Red Dead Redemption II is easily in my favourite three forms of media. Before I wouldn't have included it. I hold it very dear to my heart as it not only changed my views, but also how I act and how I see the world.
