Daily Question & Answer Thread Posted: 03 Jan 2021 09:04 AM PST #All common questions about the game should be directed here. This includes both single-player and online questions. When asking a question, it is often beneficial to share which mode you are referring to in order to get an accurate response. Also consider sharing any relevant information that may help someone answer your question. * [See our FAQ here for some common questions](/r/reddeadredemption/wiki/faq) * [Our spoiler policy](/r/reddeadredemption/wiki/spoilerpolicy) All story spoilers must be displayed with the proper format: `RDR is a great game` gives you: >!RDR is a great game!< If you're not sure if you should use a spoiler tag or not, err on the side of caution and use one. Also, it's a nice gesture to visibly indicate the general nature of your spoiler before the tag, so people know what you're spoiling. --- #[Submit Red Dead Online feedback here](https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback) [link] [comments]

Unpopular opinion: You shouldn’t explore the whole map early on in story mode Posted: 03 Jan 2021 02:43 PM PST I just finished Read Dead Redemption 2 for the first time. Amazing game. I see a lot of people suggesting others to explore the map as one of the very first things when playing the game. I don't agree. I really think the way the story is set up, you should keep to the area where you set camp and ofcourse where the missions are located. This way, you experience things in the right order and it works better from a roleplaying perspective too. It doesn't make much sense to me to explore Saint Denis before you actually go there for missions. It takes away from the experience of you and Arthur being in a big city for the first time. And you don't have the same understanding of what opinion Dutch and the gang has on civilization, if you explore those parts early on. In my opinion this will result in moments being less impactful for the player. What do you guys think? [link] [comments]
