    In praise of “The Last Ride” [SPOILERS]

    I went into this game knowing Arthur was a strong arm man, collecting debts etc and wanting to play the role of a low honour criminal.

    As I went through I found myself changing with Arthur, wanting to help others and eventually ended up at full honour.

    In his last ride, hearing those I had helped voices telling me that I was "a good man" and that all I could do was try to do better, it honestly choked me up. Then to know it's cut short in pain with "I'm really sorry, son. It's a hell of a thing." just makes it even harder.

    As John, I always felt like a hero with a difficult past, but with Arthur I felt like someone who had grown past his anger to find a more decent way of treating others.

    Saying goodbye to Arthur was just about the hardest character death for me and reminded me why these stories feel so personal. Because we don't just see it happen, we lived it and we changed with him.

    Thanks Arthur, hope you found peace.
