I played RDR2 6 months back. By far the most phenomenal game I have ever played. Fast forward to now - every game I have played since then has just been so subpar in comparison. I gave Far Cry 5 a go and was happy when I finished so that I wouldn't have to play anymore. I am now playing the Witcher 3 - and while that is a great game - the world just feels less engaging than RDR, the story is extremely repetitive and I just cant get attached to any of the characters. RDR2 has ruined gaming for me, because it has set my expectations so high for what is possible, that nothing has (and I fear nothing will) ever come close to matching the experience I had with it.
