All common questions about the game should be directed here. This includes both single-player and online questions. When asking a question, it is often beneficial to share which mode you are referring to in order to get an accurate response. Also consider sharing any relevant information that may help someone answer your question.

All story spoilers must be displayed with the proper format:

    >!RDR is a great game!<

    RDR is a great game

If you're not sure if you should use a spoiler tag or not, err on the side of caution and use one. Also, it's a nice gesture to visibly indicate the general nature of your spoiler before the tag, so people know what you're spoiling.

The second mission in rdr2 javiers lines seems so wrong when you have context on the first one

So Arthur walks in the cabin where Abigail is worried about John, Arthur says he's fine with a few insults of course and hosea steps in saying "at least go take a look" and tells javier to go with arthur Javier then says "I know if the situation were in reverse he'd look for me" I get john is lost in a snow storm and almost eaten by wolf but john does track Javier down and has him executed/kills him, sooo eh

    Foreshadowing moments in RDR2

    Posted: 26 Jul 2021 02:24 AM PDT

What foreshadowing moments can you remember from RDR2 which relate to RDR? I mean when Arthur and Javier find John and Arthus tells him "Don't die just yet cowboy." or when 4yrs old Jack says in Chapter 2 that he wants to be a gunsligner when he grows up and Abigail replies as "Over my dead body".

u/scorpix6907 also created a post about one of these great moments.

    Edit: typos

    RDR2 is slow and amazing.

    Posted: 26 Jul 2021 10:48 AM PDT

I was really hesitant about this game because I read how slow paced the gameplay is. I mainly play fast competitive FPS games and rocket league.

After 10 hours though, I have to say the slowness of this game is one of the things I enjoy most! Riding around on your horse, exploring, actually having to hunt and eat, dress properly and take care of your gear and horse is just a wonderful change of pace.

This game really is a masterpiece

I’ve had enough of Red Dead Online!

    Posted: 26 Jul 2021 03:13 PM PDT

I tried the new "dlc" Blood Money and my expectations were too high because I was happy to finally have the chance to be an outlaw in a game where you are A OUTLAW! The missions are the same everytime and it gets repetitive and if you want a quick and easy way to get the missions done. You have to buy "capitale" which is another currency to buy like the gold in game. I want to give online a chance but Rockstar just does not care for this community and is willing to take all your money in order to have fun. This is why I stay away from online because I don't want to grind endless hours just to get 3 gold bars or 1 capitale each every hour. Rockstar use to be my favorite gaming company and now it's getting to the point where I don't want to play their games anymore, especially GTA 6 which seems highly unlikely to come out anytime soon. So for all the cowboys and cowgirls who love Red Dead like I do, don't feed into giving up your hard earn money to the greedy cunts at Rockstar and Take Two. Also this video I watched pretty much sums up everything! Blood Money Dlc is Pathetic
