All common questions about the game should be directed here. This includes both single-player and online questions. When asking a question, it is often beneficial to share which mode you are referring to in order to get an accurate response. Also consider sharing any relevant information that may help someone answer your question.

All story spoilers must be displayed with the proper format:

    >!RDR is a great game!<

    gives you:

    RDR is a great game

If you're not sure if you should use a spoiler tag or not, err on the side of caution and use one. Also, it's a nice gesture to visibly indicate the general nature of your spoiler before the tag, so people know what you're spoiling.

Me and my Mum play RDR2 together, it's her favourite game. She has gotten her own PS4 to play it herself but is refusing to break Micah out of jail in Strawberry. I asked Peter Blomquist to persuade her to bust Micah out.

Opinion: Now it may not be the best weapon in either game, but the Volcanic Pistol is my favorite and always my main pistol. What are some of your guys weapons you tend to always use in either game?

God I hate Dutch so much

I liked dutch at first but the longer I went into the story he turned more into a manipulative bitch.

I'm not done with the story yet but I'm at the point when Eagle Flies invade the oil place and dutch walks out

Now I understand why so many people hate him

After a tough day of hunting, it's always nice to hit the nearest saloon and reward yourself with some whiskey. My go-to is Valentine, there's a poker table and a barber. What's your favorite saloon?

Arthur Morgan is the Best Protagonist in Gaming.

    Posted: 25 Oct 2021 12:51 PM PDT

I was just remembering the game, and I just have no way else to say how good of a character Arthur is.

People love the idea of character descend into evil, Dr. Doom, but to see a character (who was good natured) realize his flaws, vulnerabilities, and crimes and use them to help others felt good.

A game about crime felt so real and heartwarming because it was more about people first. Making a mistake to avoid/overcome another one, yet the whole step by step journey of crime led to salvation.

If we ever get a RDR3 and it ends at Blackwater, I'm so interested in understanding who this boy who was so special to Dutch was and why even more.

I can really see Arthur act as Atreus/Ellie in a threequel, and I think that could be so cool. More depth to his character in terms what started his path would be so cool.

It really puts the idea why some people do wrong into a familiar scenario, like if it were you dad doing everything to protect you. That's how John and Arthur's relation felt, especially knowing that he'd die at the end.

There's that sense of finality that you know can't ever come to such a beautiful character yet it's the inevitability of it that makes it so rewarding. It takes the what and why, and revolves it into a how that has so much depth.

And the decision to have you play as John at the end is such a poetic one. You were Arthur and did all you could, and how you watch the world unfold without him as John has to carry out his legacy. Which only must had more weight to John's character in RDR in retrospect, now knowing why he's alive and what pushes him.

I found Beecher's Hope, and it is just outside of the rural town of Arco, Idaho. Took this picture while driving past Arco last Friday, played RDR2 the next day and started the epilogue story. Couldn't help but notice the similarities!!
