    RDR1 APPRECIATION

    This is pretty strange, but I just wanna say how much I miss playing RDR1.

    Obviously, RDR2 is the superior game on numerous fronts. But the tone, the bleakness, and everything positive in between in RDR1 just seems unmatched by most AAA games today. I miss riding into Armadillo and hearing the rustic fiddles from the ambient music. I miss just blasting a bunch of outlaws away with my schofield in the Armadillo saloon. It's just one of those things where its also the game I grew up playing and have 100 percented it at least 10 times.

    When American Venom started playing during the last mission my eyes welled up and i felt like a kid again. Its like i was reliving every moment with RDR1.

    I just wish they'd do some major tweaking with RDR2's epilogue, like put the ambient music from rdr1 in those areas of the map from the first game. I'm also pretty miffed they fucked with John's model so badly -- i just feel like they made him too pretty, when hes supposed to look like this rugged and tough outlaw who looks like he hasnt slept in a week like he did in the first game.
